As we sail into Summer, temperatures climb. During the warmer months, heat and humidity can affect the quality of the crystal candy.

Sweets By The Sea cannot refund or replace items affected by heat.

We try our absolute best to get your goodies delivered to you in the best condition possible however once it leaves our kitchen, it is outside of our control. 

 

 

Our recommended tips for Summer 

Express Shipping is highly recommended during the warmer months. This ensures a quicker delivery time to you, meaning less time in transit and less chance of damage to the candies. 

 

Bring your parcel inside as soon as it gets delivered when possible. Do not leave in direct sunlight or heat for extended periods of time. 

 

If your candy has “sweated” during their travel to you, please remove them from their packaging and let them sit on a plate for a day or so for them to air out. They will become more and more crunchy the longer you leave them out.
